Have You Ever Seen an Quad Cab with Step Side Bed?

I had to look twice. I have never seen this and if it is available, I was not aware.  Do you think he made this alteration himself?

No, this was a GMC. 1999 or newer stepside bed. Four doors. I saw it at a convenience store and was going to stop and take a pic, but my Sony Mavica had no disc in it.  I thought it was an ext cab, then looked again, it had four full doors and a step side bed. It made the bed look really small. He must have just wanted to be different or damaged the bed and got this cheap.  It just looked strange. Not bad, just different.

oh, i see.  definately a home fab job.  not too hard to do.  im guessing it's on a 1500 HD?  i saw a 92-96 f-150 with a crew cab & flareside bed

Someone posted a picture on here a few months back of a truck on Ebay that was set-up like this...  Definatly a custom job, because a stepside isn't an option on a crewcab truck.

FWIW, I saw a '88-'98('00 for 3500's) dark blue CC with the long sport side bed for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. Didn't look *strange* at all -- nice looking truck. Saw it while driving (coming & going) so never got a close look at it but it looked 'stock'.

At a local car show a couple of years back a guy built a 72 Chev 1/2 ton extended cab, it actually looked pretty good.

There was two 2500HD`s crew cab sport side trucks on e-bay a few months ago. "They are fugly to the 10th power". The sport side don`t belong on the HD line of trucks. (for those that will get upset at my comment, "That is my opinion")
