Black-Z71 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 I haven't been around the forum for a while, so I thought I'd post up some current pics. Enjoy... Recent additions include: 1) Tahoe Homelink console. 2) OEM clearance lights. 3) Custom side exit exhaust.
BlackLT06 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 I would love to hear a sound clip if ya have or can get one. Top notch work
Black-Z71 Posted August 1, 2006 Author Posted August 1, 2006 Very nice!Love that side exhaust. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah...I'm very happy with the work that the exhaust shop did. It sounds incredible...I'll see if I can get a sound clip up.
kuchera89 Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 yea, that exhaust is sweet! i think some clear or smoked cad lights would really finish the look! but d**n thats a sweet truck!!!
bwinter1 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 How hard was it to put on the OEM Clearance lights? Or did the dealership install them and how much was it? Thanks....good looking truck

Thanks....good looking truck <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The clearance lights aren't that hard to install...you just need to be super careful and take your time. It also doesn't hurt to have a little courage to cut into your pride and joy. I paid about $150 total for the lights and wiring harness...you can get aftermarket ones for about $75. You just need to use some silicone sealant to make sure you have no leaks.
mikystyle Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 hey, with those ss rims, did u have to make any mods or did they fit on your stock truck? Im lookin to get a set on the old ebay central
Black-Z71 Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 hey, with those ss rims, did u have to make any mods or did they fit on your stock truck? Im lookin to get a set on the old ebay central <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They fit my truck perfectly, with NO modification. I didn't notice any rubbing or clearance issues, but expect a dramatically harsher ride. The stock tires that they put on these rims suck. They have zero ride quality, and have little traction. I just put on a new set of tires last week. I got Pirelli Scorpion ATR's...and I absolutely love them. Much softer ride, and great traction. I also have my stock set of wheels/tires for sale if anyone is interested...
mikystyle Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Thats good to know about the tire change though. Thanks. Truck looks great, love that side exit exhaust.
budhayes3 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Lookin good man Hey, from the pics, it looks like the radio antenna is on the driver's side...mine's on the passenger's side??
Black-Z71 Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 Lookin good man Hey, from the pics, it looks like the radio antenna is on the driver's side...mine's on the passenger's side?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah...thats my CB antenna. I piggy-backed the AM/FM onto that one, and just removed the stock antenna. I think it looks better...no need for 2 antennas. Thanks for all the kind words guys... Btw...I love what you did with your truck Billy, its amazing what a set of 20" wheels can do to the appearance of a truck...
