Avalanche Rear Bumper...Fit on others?

Will the Avalanche rear bumper fit on a 1500 Silverado?  Of course I'm asking in the context on no modifications required and if it needs to be modified...how?

I haven't gone to the dealer with a tape measure, but I think the Ava's bumper wraps a little on both sides and the Silverado/Sierra are not "notched" for it.

it might, but it could interfere with the tailgate on the truck, or scrape the bed.

Fascinating, there are Avalanche owners that want to swap with Silverado bumpers.

 

Since the Avalanche is based on the Suburban frame I think it would be a pretty hefty job to swap, and fitting the cladding would be a real challenge.

you don't have to add the cladding, just the actual bumper
