Throttle body spacer

I love the whistle effect, but can this spacer actually hurt perforance? No real evidence, just wondering if the spacer can effect performance when it is not in the "whistling" stage.

 

Also, is there anything out there, even a different spacer than the airriad that produces a louder or possible one that whistles through the whole powerband instead of a small part of it. I know this is stupid to most, but I think its cool.

Why don't you just stick some playing cards in your spokes for sound effects....

I have one in my truck and it does whistle, but it's not all that loud.

doubt anyone would really notice.
