Rear view mirror Q?

I was playing with the buttons on my rear view mirror yesterday and found out when you hold the temp button for about 5 seconds you can change the temp settings from Fairenheit to Celcius, I thought that was pretty cool since I didn't know that before, so I held in the comp button and waited to see what happened. after 5 seconds a little ( z ) appears and then the mirror started to count up from 8 and I stopped at 14, what Kind of settings were those??? I haven't had time to check the book and thought someone here would know?

You set the mirror into compass calibration mode. You may want to go to an empty parking lot and recal the compass.

If you look in your owners manal there should be a map that has all of the different zones on it, find your zone and number, set the compass to it and it should be perfect.

Off Road Red is 100% correct!!! Those numbers relate to different sections of the country and you should set yours to correspond to the area in which you live.

They are right. My bad, I was thinking about the recal for GPS. :lookaround:

Wow, thanks guys I had no idea that's what I was doing. I changed it from 8 to 14 before I stopped. I'll have to get out the book and see where it's supposed to be. thanks again.
