Oil Filter on Flex-Fuel motor

I have an 03 Suburban with the 5.3 flex-fuel motor. It nornally has a few knocks at startup. I spoke with the Chev. dealer and was told that that motor takes a special filter with a syphon ( or maybe anti-syphon0 part in it. That will prevent the knock at startup. Has anyone else heard of this?

pf 46 nothing special. hmm might be a tsb out though.

Certainly nothing wrong with the AC but I use a CARQUEST filter by Wix, # 85522 and I know it has the anti drain back valve. If you do not have a CQ store near you the Wix # is 51522. This is also a long filter like the old PF 59.

 

I have never had any knock at start up.
