My new pup

I got her today, shes 10 weeks, her name is maggie and she is a long haired daschund. She has been playing tug-o-war all night with my rottweiler. Shes pooped in this picture.

I used to have two daschunds. They were the best dogs I've ever had.

 

They were rather entertaining too. The female LOVED to climb. We had a heck of a time keeping her off the fence. It was a 5 foot cinder block wall, she would take a running jump at it, grab hold of the top of the fence, and pull herself up on it. Then she'd walk along the top of the fence like a cat, and go visit the neighbors. She would also climb up the apple tree, and eat apples right off of the branches. The male loved to play ball. He would chase his ball around all day, every day.

Love daschunds, had two growing up, my parents now have 3 and I have mine. The pic is of him. It is crazy when we get all 4 of them together. All my parents' dogs our girls, so when I take him down there he is king of the house. Need to get him a buddy here soon, hopefully next summer.

Good looking pup. I can't hardly remember when my dog was a pup!
