mshell56118 Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Does anyone have a diagram that shows what each pin does that is under the dash I already know the brake connector I am actually looking for the pin layout for the one marked upfitter
GM-Tech Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Make/model/year? I'm not familiar with an upfitter option, but I'll let you know once I know what kind of vehicle this is.
mshell56118 Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 2003 silverado 4x4 1500 according to the sicker on the electrical panel under the drivers side dash where you connect the brake controller harness in if you look at the marking inside the panel you remove it marks one of the plugs as upfitter or something close it is either the one next to the brake controller or the second one over
GM-Tech Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I can find little to no information on that connection. From the picture, and the fact that no connector is listed for that spot, it appears there is nothing connected to it. The backside is probably left open for the upfitter to hook in whatever they want. I'd take a test light, turn the key on and test all the connections for power. If you have none, then hook the test light to power and check for ground. Otherwise, pull the block off and look at the backside.
