Front Hubs (2wd)

I am getting a squeeking from the front end of my 04 2wd with 44k mi. truck, it only really happens when I turn. It's not the brakes, I already looked into that. Could it be the hubs/bearings?

does the squeek change with speed and when you turn? if so, its likly your hub. i just did one of mine. just before i took the wheel off i shook it from side to side. and there was more play then i thought there should be. after, it was very tight. now she rides like a dream again

Yeah, it changes when I turn, and it changes with speed. Was that what yours did? I always expected more of a grinding than a squeeking would come from a bad hub. Yours squeeked?
