Wondering what my truck would run in the 1/4????

Its a 99 silverado 2wd 5.3 with a procharger supercharger intercooled its only on the 7 psi pulley i think it is (i just bought the truck and its still in storage) its the whole kit for the 5.3 he said the truck should have around 420hp?? Sound right?? Anyways i was just wondering what else i can do and how fast in the 1/4 it would be?? My next step is exhaust!!lol

If it indeed has 420hp your probably looking at 13.7 ET 1/4. That would be if you hook up really well.

Also I calculated this basing your trucks weight around 4700lbs. If its an extended cab its probably closer to 5000lbs.

Yeah...with the 5.3L supercharged you will be pulling that easy

Ya its a reg cab ptetty much stoc k exhaust im goin with headers and prob 3" back (duals) with 2 flowmaster 40 series muffler should gain a few ponies from that too. Im not sure wha telse icould do id love to hit 12.99 with it is my goal!! Thanks guys!

If it has a blower on it, its probobly been tuned. Id hope it's been tuned anyways. Id get a cam and a set of slicks, maybe some pulley action for more boost. What all did the previous owner do/have done to the tranny?

 

For cams just email summit or Jegs or something, give them all the details to your truck, and see what they recomend. Or if theres a performance place or hotrod shop close to you with a good rep you could ask them.
