I broke my HD

I was turning into my driveway Saturday morning when I lost both power steering AND brakes.  :0

 

I was able to get it stopped easily (lots-o-pressure on the pedal), but was unable to identify what the problem was visually.

 

I removed the belt and pulled on the PS pulley and the dang thing came out of the housing.  ???  :thumbs:

 

Oh well, I guess I hit a slick spot followed by a dry spot and "snap".  I called the dealership and they said they see that more on plow trucks, but that it is not uncommon.

 

Good thing I got an HD so that I can't haul anything in the bed without dents, touch the side rails without them bending, or turn real sharp on slick roads.  

 

It really makes using this truck a challenge.
