Flex a lite electric fan for Silverado?

I have a 2000 Silverado w/ 5.3. Is a dual 12" flexalite fan enough to cool it? I think it is about 2500cfm. I have the fan from another project and was going to sell it, but I will keep it if it will work OK.

The aftermarket unit to replace the factory manual fan is a 5500CFM unit. So I would say that a 2500 CFM unit would not do the job.
