Radio light

I have no light on my radio, but the radio work. Is there a fuse just for light or do I have to take half of the truck apart to reach the light bulb ?

They could all be out. You just have to take the radio all apart.

Do you have any idea how to take it out of the dash w/o the work shop manuel ?

I'd need a picture, but I think that it's just like the silverado, the front piece of the dash should just be connected by clips that you should be able to just pull off (you'll need to pull the tilt on the steering wheel all the way down, and put your vehcial shifted into "1" to get the piece off) and then you should be able to see the way to pull your stereo out, if there are no screws, there are probably two clips (one on either side of the stereo) push the clips down, and it should pull out.
