Amp and Sub in GMT 900

OK - I have waited long enough. I want to install the amp and sub I had in my 03 Tahoe into my 07 Denali. I had previously used a PAC adapter for my 2003, but with no new adapter available I went searching for the subwoofer wires under the console.

I figure that I should be able to tap a high-level signal from the subwoofer speaker cables and get the bass frequencies I want to run to the amp. I have done this with Tahoes in the past and it worked like a charm. I removed the cup holder assembly (just lift and it will snap out from the center and back) and found the sub enclosure. There is a 4 wire harness that looks like it is going to it. It is cliped to the passenger side of the opening. For some reason I didn't want to disconnect it and find out that I was wrong or end up with an airbag in my face.

The wire colors were red, green, white/red and white/green. My guess is signal +/-, power and ground. Has anyone tried this or does anyone have the wiring diagrm for the console? Have we talked about this before?

Anyone have any insight? I can't be the only one not thrilled with the stock gmt 900 setup...
