I was hooking up a system on my blazer, And after i was done i was going to run down to my friends house.

Well i started it up, moved it out of the garage and it started smokin really really bad, so i shut off the motor, popped the hood, and took a look around.

It wasnt smokin after i shut it off, I pulled the power wire back through the firewall, too make sure it wasnt touchin the exhaust, it wasnt.

Then i seen it was leakin oil, So i started it back up, Reved the motor acouple times, And see ALOT of smoke comin through on the passenger side of the engine bay, And from the exhaust tip.

I couldnt see any oil leaks onto the manifolds, so i crawled under it, and their is a slight leak comin from where the exhaust manifold connects to the Y-pipe, And it was leakin oil.

And from where the cat is welded to the Y-pipe, it was leaking oil.

So somehow, Oil is being dumped strait into the exhaust!

So, what should i do? Is their somethin going wrong?

Thanks!

Did you have the heads checked for cracks? Make sure to tighten the headbolts down properly? Have the heads completely rebuilt, including valve guides/seals? It sounds like something went amiss when you were rebuilding your engine. You say you just got done, but could it be that you reused your piston rings even though they were shot? Just a few possibilities.

Actually, i didnt rebuild the motor, i bought it from a junkyard.

So im gunna change out the PCV valves i have layin around And hope that will fix it.

If not im gunna change the intake gasket

Thanks!
