Hi all. OK, so I've been gone for almost two years. In all fairness, I did in fact sell my truck. I smooshed it a little bit, and instead of fixing it..I just decided to get rid of it. Gotta give it credit. The thing was still drivable after an accident that would cripple most any other vehicle.

 

But there's a new Silverado out, and I'm getting a little tired of having only a sports car as my only way to go pick up a Christmas tree. Not to mention that everyone seems to not see me and merge right into me on the freeway.

 

I'm really impressed by the new Silverado. I'm not impressed by the fact that a full up Silverado is now going to have an MSRP a full 10 grand more than my last truck did. But more than likely, my next purchase is going to be a GM truck or utility. I've also been eyeing the baby Hummer...just not sure if I can live with the lack of grunt under the hood.

Harleys can be, and most of the time are, expensive. But some of the Sportster models come in well under $10k. And while a brand new 'Vette can push over $50k these days, just something only a couple years old and still under warranty can be had for almost $20k less than what it sold for new.
