Sorry, i forgot to mention crew cab.  I traded the c3 because I was afraid to drive it.  It was black and hard to ckeep clean and it is just not a truck you can jump into and head to the grocery store with.  When i started looking to get rid of my 99 1500 LT X-cab, I wanted the HD but, the dealer got the c3 down so low in price I just couldnt resist.  Dont get me wrong that is one BAD truck, fast, sticks to the road and the interior is awesome.  But the HD is a truck, true and true.  i am heading to indianapolis this weekend to look into some nerf bars as this thing is almost impossible for my little wife to hop into.  The 285's sure didnt help in that respect!!

You'll love that Pewter color for keeping it clean looking.  No other color hides the dirt better than pewter in my opinion!!!

 

Our trucks should be look-a-likes!!!  except for the cap on my truck and the 285's on yours.

 

If you haven't had your speedo/odometer reprogrammed for the 285's, then you'll be in for a big shock unless you compensate for your your miles when you get gas, and try to figure your gas milage.  I've broken 14 mpg's once in my truck!!!

I live in Delphi, between lafayette and Logansport.  I am ticked off at you right now because you are looking at a lot of snow and I am looking at a lot of wet freakin rain.  i am ready to put this thing to the test!!  haha

I agree with this color.  i had a charcoal 99 chevy and it was not bad, the c3 was pathetic and to me this is the best for keeping clean.  I detail on the side so I am a clean freak anyway!!

 

I also had these 285s on my 99 and I have them now on my 97 Tahoe. Although I never have i should have it reprogrammed, but, I have never had any problems with this setup so I proabably wont spend the $ for a programmer for this.

 

I am not even going to check the gas mileage on this hog......I don't want to cry in front of my wife, haha.  If I was looking for good mpg's i sure would not have bought the 2500HD.  I just pray that gas stays around $1.00-$1.05.

I have heard good things about tillmans.  I bought my stuff at Just Trucks.  They are just north of 465 on 421/michigan road.  They installed my westen step bars while I waited.  All truck stuff, normally instock.  Just thought I might save you the extra miles.

well no more sleet its snowing and not letting up.  Hasnt stopped raining sleeting snowing since early this morning.

Give Mervz of SiiLt a PM, they will let you give yourself a new name and then they will transfer your post count over.  I'm curious about this rating, are you thinking of PUTC?  I don't believe we have that option here.
