Time to sell my truck as we have outgrown it. It is an excellent truck and I really hate to see it go, but the kids are getting too big for the back seat. I bought the truck new and have had very little in the way of problems. Here are the details:

2000 Chevy 1500 4x4 Ext. Cab (4 door), short bed, 5.3, auto, autotrac 4x4, LS. Red over Charcoal exterior, light gray cloth interior. Bucket seats with full console, power windows, power locks, air, tilt, cruise, AM/FM/CD, 108,500 miles.

I have put several extras on the truck and here is that list.

Manic grill guard, Hella "Black Magic" off road lights, Street Scene grill inserts, Ventshades, light tint on door windows, Bed side caps, Magnaflow cat back exhaust, AEM Brute Force Air Intake, Westers 89/91 Dual Tune, Escalade Cluster, American Racing Teron 16x8 wheels, BFG AT tires - 285-75-16, GM Accessories bug shield and Husky Floor liners.

Within the last 15k miles the truck has had all fluids changed, new plugs and wires, new brake pads all the way around, new rear rotors, new Bilstein shocks, the tires have about 30% to 40% tread remaining and overall is in very good shape. Honestly, I feel that you would be hard pressed to find a truck this age with these miles as clean as this one is. There are NO defects inside at all. No stains, rips and minimal wear. Towels have been on the seats most of it's life and the back seats have only seen daylight between towel changes. The exterior is free of dents and dongs and the paint is very shiney. There are a few rock ships here and there and a couple scuffs that may buff out. They are not into the paint at all, just the clear coat. This truck has been cared for meticulously.

Here is a link to my Cardomain page. These pictures were taken about 20k miles ago and the truck looks the same. This weekend I plan on getting fresh pictures taken so they will be available next week. Let me know if you want to see anything in particular.

This is a very good truck that I feel has many more miles of trouble free use left, but my kids are getting bigger, (11 and 8) and it is just too small for the 4 of us to go anywhere very far, so I am in the market for a Suburban.

Asking Price is $10,500

Thanks for the compliment and the bump. Sorry for being in the dark, but what is a "craigslist"?

WOW! That's a really nice truck. Wish it had been for sale back before I bought mine. I really, really wanted a red one, but couldn't find one that was in good shape and fit my price range.

If your kids are uncomfortable back there, I guess I should really feel bad for my dad. He's 6'3" and I pack him back there every now and then. :P You could always put a camper shell on the back and make 'em ride back there... might even reduce your stress level a bit on long trips.

Seriously, I wish you luck selling it. Shouldn't be hard at all.
