Bang noise over bumps.

My truck and suburban both have make a bang noise going over bumps. It is in the front left side. I suspect as possiblities that the bushings may need replacement, the torsion bars may have issues or just plain old shocks going bad.

 

Has anyone dealt with this problem and know how to fix it?

If the shock bushings are good, then check the torsion bar bushings. I had one doing that, finally took it to the dealer for a look-see. I think it was about $65 to fix, but that was 7 or 8 years ago.
