HD Rescues Mom in Law-Love This Truck

Got 6 inches heavy wet snow here in northern NY today.Came home from work to find my wifes' mom had spun out her Blazer at an on ramp to Interstate 87.Hopped in the HD with towstrap,shovel etc.to see what I could do.She was down a ditch facing the wrong way pretty well hung up.Hooked up strap,had the wife drive Blazer,dropped the HD in 4low and walked that sucker out of there without spinning a tire.I was amazed,thought a tow truck was our only hope.Loving this truck more every day,just turned 1k miles.Can't wait to see how it handles the car trailer when we go to the drags.Just thought I'd share my good feelings on this truck with others.

Hmmm...I can think of a few pals of mine who would've left the mom-in-law in the ditch!!

 

I'd say you have enough power, weight and traction in your new HD to pull just about any car or light pickup out of most ditches or hang-up's you'll encounter!

Yeah,it does feel good.After driving junks for too many years its nice to have something dependable and do the work you want it to do.

I'm one of the fortunate ones in not only do I have a great wife but her mom is terrific also.And no,the wife isn't looking over my shoulder as I punch this out.She's not even home.
