Trailblazer Headlamps Flicker

2005 Trailblazer LT 2WD headlamps flicker intermediately the dash lights do not and the voltmeter does not fluctuate.

 

I spoke with my dealer they said to bring in the vehicle so they can document the issue, they also stated that this is known problem and there is no solution. I take it they are not going to fix the problem.

 

I found several references to TSB’s but I do not have a subscription service.

It is distracting to the driver but the NHSTB says it is not a safety issue.

My wifes 04 Trailblazer did that a few weeks ago. I pulled the battery connections, cleaned them up with a wire brush and put them back on. Problem went away. I couldn't see that they needed to be cleaned, but I'm glad I tried it anyways.
