New from MN!

Hello,

 

I'm from Minnesota- Twin Cities area. I bought my dream truck this past October and found this site recently. I look forward to reading and learning about our trucks on the forums. If you're from Minnesota let me know, I'm always looking for friends!

 

Right now I don't have any major plans like jacking it up or an engine swap (although if I won the lottery, a 572 would be nice to have). My truck is my daily driver, though I only have a few miles to drive for work or school.

 

If anyone knows anything about how to take the swirl marks out of the paint please let me know. I've skimmed the forums, but I would like to know what tools and products work the best. I had a bad experience with color sanding, so I'm a little nervous about taking sandpaper to my paint!

No need to sand. Mothers and McGuires will work wonders. I forget which formula, but the McGuires wax with compund in it also works wonders, burgundy can if I remember correctly. Welcome to the forum.

Very nice truck man, nothing better than a black Z71.

 

BTW, I am also planning to get a 572. (maybe 10, 15 years from now)

 

 

EDIT: I also bought my dream truck last October, the one in the sig.
