I NOW THAT THE Z85 IS FOR THE 2500

AND THE Z71 IS FOR THE 1500

BUT I WANNA NOW IS THERE A BIG DEFRANC

BECAUSE I WANT TO BUY A NEW GMC 2006 OR 07 BUT IM LOST

i want the 2500 because i want a 6000 cc

If I'm not mistaken, Z85 is the RPO code for a heavy duty suspension (tow/haul) package.

 

Z71 is the one and only true off road package (a RPO code as well).

 

Check your golve box out...

z85 is the RPO for handling/ towing packages.

 

z71 is offroad. You can get them in any pickup now 1/2 3/4 1 tons

 

and you can get a 1500 6 Liter vortecmax CC only

the gmc have a better look.

 

does the 1500 sierra come with this 6000 as a opiton.

 

and does the 2500 comes with a Z71 as opiton?

 

i want a 2007 sierra classic i didnt like the new one's

2500s don't come with the Z71 option (Classic ones anyways, not sure about the new ones). It doesn't matter really cause as soon as you lift the truck you basically do have an off-road suspension. My 2500HD handles better offroad than my Colorado Z71. It has most of the same stuff it did plus more- like a locking diff, heavy duty shocks, skid plates (Colorado didn't have it).
