6.0 in light duty

can a 6.0 be bought from the factory in a 1500 light duty regular or extended cab? If so id really like one....well unless u can get a duramax in a 1500 light duty but i seriously don't think so on either just wondering.

The 6.0 is not available in regular cab trucks, just the ext. cabs and crew cabs. Duramax is only available in the 2500HD and 3500HD models.

You can get one in a 1/2 ton ex cab though...The VortecMax.

 

You can also get one in a Trailblazer

i read a couple months back that gm is working on a smaller version (like a 4.7 liter) duramax for future 1500 models just an F.Y.I to watch for
