2003 HD 1SA standard cap pictures

The other night I thought I saw a pictures of a couple 2003 HD standard cab 1SA base models here somewhere.  One green and the other was white.  The pictures appeared to be taken on a dealers lot.  Where did the pictures go?  Or what forum was it on?

You are right Shaners….the first try was the one I was looking for.  I just couldn’t remember which thread the pictures were in.  Since I moved away from SE Michigan I have lost my convenient locations for seeing first hand of what is rolling out of Pontiac East and Flint assembly.  I started to download these pictures last week from a motel and lost connection and only saw the tops of the hoods and beds then couldn’t find them once I had time to surf this week.  I was very anxious to see what the base models for fleet and commercial would look like such these 1SA peg standard cab units.   They are just as ugly as the rest of the litter in my opinion.  

 

I am headed back out to my old stomping grounds in Detroit next week from meetings.  (It has been a year and two months since I left Michigan…whoooo hooo!) Rumor has it that there are a couple of 04’ 4x4 GMT560’s running around.  I’ll see if I can catch one on camera from a legal view.  I’ve heard they are sporting an Isuzu sourced solid front axle or a new AAM piece backed with an unknown transfercase.  We’ll see.  

 

Oh, yeah, since I haven’t posted in a while I will catch you all up to speed……the wife and I are hoping to take delivery of a Pewter 02’ Tahoe Z71 later this week providing my dealer can get one traded to him from a Denver dealer since my dealer buddy sold his only stock unit that we had dibs on.  An underling salesman sold it minutes before we walked in to sign the GMAC papers. Jerk.  Wife was heartbroken.  I must say, you just can’t beat the 0% interest on those 02’ Tacos and Subs even if they do come with the soft palm flit boy push button POS AutoCrap transfercase as standard equipment.  If you want one of these terds this is the time to buy.
