Door switch module - options?

I have a 2005 ECSB GMC Sierra. I'd like to use a Yukon driver's side door switch module & use the non-used switches to control other things. (speficically: rear window switches)

 

I looked at the schematic & it's not clear HOW the extra switches would function, if at all. I was expecting just some switches but there's quite a bit of logic involved with two circuit boards involved in the process, and a lot of chips.

 

SO - if I plug the Yukon door switch module into my Sierra harness, would I be able to use the now-unused plug to control other functions in the truck? (All I want to do is activate a relay - so all I need is to get switched +12V off that second connector)
