Seems stupid, but I'd like to at least know if there are mods for my upcoming car: 99 Intrigue with the 315HP 3.5L shortstar(based on Northstar V-8). gotta smoke those new 265HP Camry's and accords, ya know?

I've got an aFe filter on the way, LOL! :sigh:

I know I know, truck site, but there aren't GM car sites this good!

STICKERS remember they add 5hp a piece and the NOS sticker adds 20hp. Oh and a Tornado in the air intake for an extra 30hp and the folgers can exhaust for 100hp. i'll betfor under 100 bucks you'll be in the 600hp range

Dont forget to put a wing on the hood, for downforce on the front drive wheels. You also need a wing for the trunk for rear downforce...because its a FWD car. With 600 hp, your going to need down force.

Stock it'll keep up with an RX8 past legal speed limits (the only time I ever raced mine, and the fuel shutoff on the intrigue is not nice at all, I thought my tranny fell out the bottom of the car). About the only upgrades you can make are the normal k&n, but you'll gain the most off rubber (intrigues are really touchy off the line) intially. Of course if you have access to a race shop (I mean a real one... not one of those bolt-on pushers) they should be able to adjust your suspension and adjust your fuel maps/shift points (though I thought the shift points were pretty spot on).

I do miss my Intrigue, in terms of mid-size cars I thought it was the best looking... and they also were the highest American content cars left towards the end of their run (>95%).

If I were to shop around for a car again though I think I'd go with a 4.0L Aurora.
