I received my 9006 8k HIDs this morning. Installed them tonight and all I can say is 'WOW'! What a difference.

I had the Sylvania Silverstar's (forget the extra name but it's their best silverstar) installed on both low & high.

It can't touch the 8k HIDs. And now when I switch to the high beams (which are still the silverstars), I can't believe how yellow they look.

I order the lights on Friday, I received them on Wednesday (would have been Tuesday if I was home at the time).

Definitely worth the investment. And Mike was a pleasure to do business with.

Two points to keep in mind:

- on my truck, I had to flip the connector. When I first installed the lights, they didn't come on. Flipped the 9006 connector around, works great!

- if you're in Canada, have them shipped via USPS. United Parcel Service (UPS) will rob you with the brokerage fees.

Hey Pwall,

How was the install? What kind of brackets did the ballasts come with? Did you have to do any cutting or drilling?

Let me know, or send me a personal email.

thanks! I'd like to get this kit if it's a good one and I would rather deal with somebody I "know" than somebody I don't.
