Wait4me Tune

so im going to go with a wait4me tune, i know in the email i need to send him any engine/tire mods but anything else past that, like what the truck is used for, i.e. daily driver, hauling loads?? and does anyone know what exactily is done, such as shift points, shift firmness, limiters? etc. Just some last minute questions before i send my money and info in.

The more information you give Jesse, the happier you will be. He can make many different modifications. If he know how you will be using the truck, and how it is equipped (tire size, gearing, Exhaust, octane, etc.), he can make better decisions to get you what you want. He did my 06 Sierra CC and I'm as happy as can be.

Gear ratio, tire size, engine & if modified, trans & is modified, exhaust, type of use and if you are after performance or economy. Just remember the more aggressive your tune is the lower your fuel economy will be.

Well if you keep your foot in it like you might with a new tune the milage will go down. But even with a haul ass tune you might pick up a mpg or two if you drive little more conservative.

What exactly does the Wait4me tune do? Is it like a chip?

Its a tuned PCM, the small rectangular computer that basically runs your engine. They adjust the fuel, advance the timing, change shift points, delete some torque management for quicker shifts..its a great change in performance. You pop your hood, disconnect the battery, unplug your old pcm, install your new tuned pcm, hook up the battery, and close the hood

Mine was $258.10 paypalled to them. I got $100 back after returning the core. I think there is some variation in price depending on what year your truck is. Send them an e-mail.

there is a special right now for 157.70 thats why im doing it!! does anyone know if he gets rid of the "govenor" isnt it like 107mph or something like that???

Jesse only does what you tell him. Beware the fuel shout off is set because your tires are rated for about 107 mph and the truck get really unstable much over that.

Yeah im sure 107mph plus wouldnt be the most stable in a 3/4ton 4x4, does he give you info on what exactly he did?? also i've read on here about crank relearn, is this a must?? me and my buddy have a Tech II so its no big deal but just wondered if it was mandatory?
