Banks Monster Exhaust For Gasers!

I recently saw that Banks which is usually all about diesels has came out with an exhaust system for the 4.8l, 5.3l, and the 6.0, which is my motor! , anyways i was wondering if anyone has this on their truck and what the thoughts are, i have yet to see a price on it, not cheap im sure since its Banks

I considered one for my former Ram with a Hemi. Problem was it was way too loud, and reduced the backpressure quite a bit over the stock system. I just put a Corsa system on my new '07 GMC Sierra with a 5.3. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the system and the sound.

I've been looking at a Magnaflow system, but the Corsa looks pretty sharp. I notice the Corsa is GM licensed.

I had a Gibson on my '99 GMC, a MagnaFlow on my '00 GMC, and a Borla on my '01 GMC. Then I bought a Dodge Ram with a Hemi and put a MagnaFlow on it. Now that I'm back in a GMC Sierra, I went with the Corsa. By far the best exhaust system I've had.

i have magnaflow on my 6.0 now and havent had any problems, i just saw banks was in the gas market now and was curious of the results.

i have the monster exhaust for my 5.3. i love it. its more sublte than my friends flowmaster as far as noise goes (as in its deeper/throatier but not as loud/obnoxious) and performance is great. id reccommend it.

I just dualed out my 8.1 with no mufflers and went from 12 or 13 to less than 9 mpg...

wow, thats quite a drop, hopefully you made up for it in HP!!!!!!!!!!!!! no backpressure thats for sure!!

What series flowmaster does your friend have?

How load is it really? I wouldn't want to wake the neighbors @ 1500rpm going up the driveway at night...

Plus, I'd hate to have a noticeable drone on the highway. Some I don't mind, but noticeable... not so much.
