i put it on friday with my brother, with removal of the old exhaust and putting on the new dual rear corsa exhaust with 4" tips...the total time was about 2 hours, probably not quite even that long, i was surprised how easy it was.

i absolutely love it, noticed what i would consider a SIGNIFICANT difference on the low end like 0-40mph....i really dont know stats wise what kinda hp it may have added or torque, but let me tell ya the pickup on my truck seems so much faster...i was wondering if i should have gone with a cheaper system, but now that i have it i wouldnt change it for anything, and it sounds great. well worth the $850.

soo...i have my old exhaust just laying in my garage, i havent checked around yet, but is it worth anything to anyone? i wonder if i can even get $50 for it on ebay or something, it's fromt a 2005 ext cab z71 with 10,000 miles on it..might just junk it not sure

thanks for all of you're inputs the lead me to this exhaust system i love it, im military home on leave in wisconsin til the 21st, but when i get back to utah if anyone wants pictures of video i will add it to this thread! (forgot digital camera in utah :/ )

The stock exhaust from a 2005 should fit a 2001 right? If so I would love it. I hate my exhaust now.

Thank you. I am running 3" true dual straight pipes and I am just tired of it. For now, I would rather spend $50 to go back being quite and maybe eventually putting some aftermarket mufflers on it. I just don't have the money to run true dual Super 40's and then buy new tips and new 3" piping then get it installed. So just let me know if it will work.

the corsa system does make these 5.3's sound so good. it is a good quality system to. now ya need to post a sound/video clip for us. i believe i have the same system as you (dual rear exit, single 4" pro tips) and it was a real easy install. I guess i am weird but i love the sound of that stainless steel popping and cracking after ya shut it down. i loved the part in the instructions where it said, "gas mileage should increase, as long as you can stay out of it." :D needless to say "i can't stay out of it" sounds to good to stop. LOL have a good one and enjoy it. :D

I too have the Corsa Sport on my truck but its just not loud enough. It sounds great but my wife is like it needs to be louder, Im looking in to gettin a set of the dynatech headers got to save up for them. Will that make the exhaust much louder is the question.

If not what other exhaust options do I have?

Get some Dynatechs! That'll solve your problem.
