Engine Wiring Diagram

hey guy....was wondering if someone here could be of assistance...

 

I have a 2000 model vortec v6 that i have installed in a custom tube chassis for rock crawling. i have an updated computer (from a 95/96 w/o egr stuff) and a wiring harness that i purchased from howell EFI....

 

the harness is pre terminated and layed out very nicely and should not be too much of a PITA...however, i would still like a labeled diagram of the engine and its components/sensors...if possible....

 

i am new to this engine and really would like the diagram to help me get more aquainted with it...

 

maybe something scanned from a FSM or the like...

I also have a question... forum wont let me start a new topic so.. ill just ask here. Where is the computer for a 99 silverado 1500 Z71 located at? I am installing a DPSS autometer gauge.... and autometer said to run the green wire to PIN #10 on the computer.. where is the computer and pin#10? Thx for ur time.

as for the location of the pcm its under the hood on the driver side. As for the #10 pin you have to find out which connector. It has 4 connectors that are color coded. All of the pins have numbers that go from 1 to 37 or so. So you would have 4 #10 pins. Maybe you can look at all of them and find which pin # 10 has the green wire. If you take the connector off and open the back up and look really good you will see numbers, look for #10 and the green wire. I am pretty sure you gotta diconnect the negative battery cable first.

I'm hoping this is going to get me a bit closer to finding out where my signal flasher is located on a 1997 GMC Jimmy full size. I have taken all lower panels from dash but cannot see a flasher. I have search under the drivers side in the mess of wires that are there but still cannot find it.

 

Can anyone help??
