Alright, I know I promised pics and audio yesterday, but d**n it, I couldn't stop driving around listening to it. No worries about the V4/V8 switch for me anymore. It does sound just a bit different but nothing that'd make me mad and nothing really noticeable at all. GO BUY YOUR MAGNAFLOW!!! Special thanks to my boy Vagilla for the sweet hook-up!

Here are the pics:

Fresh out of the bubbles and polished as a mofo.

You only wish your ride had some sweet drum brakes like these.

Look at that tip.

So, I assume you can hear the added volume inside the truck while your driving, right? I am sorry, but I just never understood the attraction to making a really nice, quiet truck loud. The engineers go to great lengths quieting these trucks down and then people spend mucho bucks making them loud again. Sorry, I just don't get it. But to each his own I guess. My Vmax is louder than my 2000 was and it is stock and I would not want it any louder. It is just right, a little rumble on takeoff and quiet as a church mouse at speed.

Yeah, nice drums Daddy...lol (I would have spent that exhaust money on a disc conversion kit instead)

NO, you are not allowed to not like it!

It's a little louder inside but not much, and to be honest, the audio in the clip makes this kit sound much louder than it really is. It only really gets loud under WOT and even then it's not obnoxious. At low speeds it's only a slightly louder rumble than stock, seriously. I thought it might be too loud myself but thought it was worth a shot. Needless to say, I am extremely pleased. At highway speeds it's barely even noticeable. Oh, and don't worry, I'll still get the disc conversion kit!

My buddy is a Snap-On dealer and I helped him sell about 25k worth of tool boxes recently so he bought this for me as a gift, couldn't not bolt it up and happy I did.

Ok, ok, I like it, I like it...lol At least the price was right

I didn't mean to come across as critical, it's just a personal preference I guess.

You dun good!!!

I wonder why the 5.3's come out the side and the 6.0's go straight out the back? Any idea?

My God...It's a truck..the pipes are going to get dirty! I bet you'll freak out after the first scratch inside the bed. Look at that pampered truck, it's time to pop her cherry!

The point was not to destroy the muffler before it was even on the truck. You are more than welcome to abuse your truck, I'll be taking care of mine.

Stay Cool.

Personally my thought was that Engineers queited the rigs from tire road noise and external noises as other vehicles and such. Exhaust is just for those who want more performance and that muscle sound! haha You will hear me coming!

Sweet! Last time I put on a catback I had to cut the old system in half to get it out from under the truck. Were you able to get your trucks exhaust off without breaking out the sawzall?

Sounds like my stock 2500HD - great

Didn't even try, just hacked it in two right after the can. However, I don't think there's a chance from the looks of things under there.
