My New Sierra Denali

After many moons of owning multiple new Dodges, I finally made the switch to the General.

I LOVE this truck, it looks sharp, interior is awesome, drives like its floating on air and runs so fast and smooth.

Its a 2007 Sierra Denali in Silver Birch with black leather interior, sunroof, power rear slider and heated steering wheel.

Nice truck minus the Rhino liner (unless that is the new high temp, high pressure stuff). I hope you weren't planning to actually use the bed or expose it to sunlight! I think you will appreciate the paint and clear coat on this truck more then anything. It's a step in the right direction for mr. Mopar!

Very nice! Thanks for the pictures. I have not seen a new Sierra Denali with the black interior, only the beige. I currently have a 2008 Sierra Denali on order for late August/early September delivery in the same color combination as yours just equipped a bit differently.

Wow, whats wrong with a Rhino??

 

Putting the Rhino under the rear wheel arches, does it help with stones bouncing off the metal.

 

I'm gonna spray mine soon with either Rhino or Linex and if it cracks or messes up, LIFETIME WARRANTY, who cares! They'll fix it.

I'm gonna spray mine soon with either Rhino or Linex and if it cracks or messes up, LIFETIME WARRANTY, who cares! They'll fix it.

 

To give it straight up....regular Rhino sucks. It peels up, needs constant repairs to look its part, looks like a mess when applied by most applicatiors, and suffers from extream fading due to UV rays (the liner turns white and starts flaking apart...which is my biggest problem with Rhino). Line-X is stonger, lasts longer, looks better and doesn't fade. Even with a lifetime warranty, Rhino is not a good choice. How much time do you want to waste in at the dealer getting it repaired? Do you like severe fading not covered under the warranty? Now, there is a new fairly rare high pressure more commercial type, Rhino that is just about as good as Line-X. It is expensive and its really hard to find an applicator. Go Line-X. You will be so happy with it. I'm going to bet the OP will come back in a few moments and tell me why Rhino is better because he works/owns a Rhino shop. I have personally tested both products and have about 20 or so landscapers in my town that have tested both products to the extream and none would go back and get a Rhino again. Line-X was the clear winner.

Nice truck, I tested one today. It was black though. I really don't want black. The dealer was able to locate one in the silver color.

Just curious what did you end up paying for your new one ?

I got a quote of $40,700

No NAV, with sliding rear window and with sunroof.

Its all about prep work

 

Working at commercial sites you see almost an equal number of rhino and line-x

 

On each one you will see chips or peeling, or fading.

 

Its all about how the applicator preps the bed, but lets be honest here.

 

If you are really using your truck do you care?!

 

My rhino liner is white from haulin rock and debri every where

My buddy s f250 with linex is white from hauling rock and debri everywhere.

 

He has little chips, I have little chips.

 

It is way better to find a job that does better prep work than nuttswing a brand.

I just got a quote for A Denali just like that via the web. I hope the dealer has it in stock and will give me the rebates

that another dealer offered. If not, I will order a 2008.
