Kyb Monomax Or Gasajust

I'm finally getting rid of my 110,000 mile old stockers. I want to go with KYB but would like some input on which ones to get. I know both the MonoMax and Gasajust are monotube design, I just need to know which will fit my needs better. I do a decent amount of towing a 19 ft. deckboat, and having the bed full of something, don't do any crazy off roading but do on ocassion head down the unbeaten path. C & A's Dad, I know your an advocate...I need input. Thanks

Have you looked into the Bilstein HD shocks? BE5-6081-HO (front); BE5-6082-HO (rear) for the 2500 ?

I'm wanting to stay away from HD shocks...heard alot of complaints about riding like a brick. It doesn't ride that smooth as is...it's a truck...but I'm not looking for a worse ride. I got a set of Monomax that will be in Friday.

I installed the Monomax and noticed a real improvement all the way around. My fronts were SHOT to the point where you can compress them by hand fairly easy. Noticed better cornering and the nose doesn't dive when I get on the brakes, the ride is still stiff but no worse than before. I would recommend no problem.
