When are you suppose to change the o2 sensor? is it hard to do? And are they all the same?

When they go out or some people change them between 75K and 100K becasue they can get lazy and never set a code.

No, it is not hard to do but you will need a special made socket with the slot for the wire down the side. They are not expensive.

No, the ones in front of the cats are different from the ones behind the cats.

Yea, and about 50% of them are actually correct.

I try to help if I can but once it gets a little technical or deep, I have to refer those questions to the Prof Techs who reside here.

If you have 4-wheel drive the drivers side manifold O2 wiring harness will be a beotch!! The front driveshaft runs right next to the tranny and blocks you from getting at that one unless you have rubber arms.

I used a wrench on mine. No special socket for me. I might have squirted some WD-40 on them, might not have. Don't remember.

As long as you can get to them from the side a wrech is fine. If you cannot and a socket is needed, you have to have one with the wire slot up the side.
