Modification Promises

Ok I got this stuff finished about a couple days ago and promised some people I would post it when I was done... So here it is.

1. I installed escalade mirrors, which pretty much plugged in and worked. I did not have the turn signals at first but now I do and did not need anything. I added a new driver switch to get the fold in feature to work, but I was originally going to just wire them to the On switch and have them fold open and closed with vehicle start.

2. I painted the lower valance along with the rear tailgate handle. I like the chrome, so left the bumper unpainted. I think it looks pretty good, but need to put on the chrome tow hooks.

3. Vehicle is completely de-badged. I am still waiting for my ez-solid grill and bowtie.

Hope you all enjoy.

The truck looks fantastic. Really great job !

I will take some closer pics later today of the mirrors and post them... the other side has a small opening at the bottom where the chrome window trim goes on the escalade. I am still thinking about a way to fill it in, the trim is not transferable.

I found a guy on line that sold me the mirrors for $250 for both, they where a great deal IMO.

Thanks all...

That is a cool change to the truck. I want to clean my truck up by debadging but the mirror change is cool. What year of escalade did the mirrors come off of and what were the wiring set-up like. I saw some on-line but the descriptions said different wiring.

I am trying to get an idea what I want to do and this is a cool idea.
