Gmt-900 Wiring

I have a 2007 Nbs GMC Sierra and after 7 weeks and 1700 miles it blew a fuse cuasing the service airbag light to come on then later leading to a short to be found under the dash. I'm wondering since no service rep could give me a straight answer is, is all the wiring tied into one another? like is the airbag circutry also tied into say the wiring harness on the mirror? or does everything run on its own? Any help would be much appreciated.

Since your truck is under warranty i highly recommend you take it back to the dealer and have it fixed. Being a new model GM needs all the feedback on problems to track the problems and find a resolution.
