Sliding Rear Window

I'd like to change out the rear window on my 02 2500hd. I'm looking for a window with the same tint, but I'd like to have a sliding rear window instead of just one sheet of glass.

 

opinions?

 

how much should i expect to pay for this?

 

not an immediate concern, just an aesthetic "want" really.

Why do people need sliding rear windows anyway? I know for the OP it is for asthetics, but does it serve some purpose. I never had it and never really wanted it. With all the options I already want on my vehicles, that is just one more thing on the already long list that can break. I'm not trying to be a smart arse by any means, I just want to know if it serves some functional purpose besides airing out the cab.

We had one in my wife's pickup (which we just swapped) so that our dogs could get some air. The old extended cabs do not have roll down windows. That was our reason.

Actually, I'd like to have no glass at all between them, and a rubber boot to seal them together. That would be perfect.
