Adding An Information Center?

I have a 2007 NBS CC Silverado LT, my buddy has an 08 Sierra Denali and it has the information center to the right of the steering wheel to show all the fuel, tire stuff etc. I saw the info center stuff for sale at gm's website. I was wondering if the dealer is able to add this to my truck?

if you want to pay them sure they can add it .. or just buy it yourself ... the wiring is already there to plug it into

You can do it yourself. I put mine in this past week. Just snap off the dash cover. You get a new cover with the switch in it. The plug is pluged into a dummy plug on the back of the old one. Put in new cover and switch and plug in. Its easy.

that sounds really easy, will this give me my "Miles till Empty", "Tire Pressure", "Gallons of gas", etc etc? Where would you recommend I buy this?

I think it depends on options you already have on the truck. Mine shows miles to empty, gas used, tire pressure, Average miles per gallon (which hurt my feelings) LOL. Some show instant MPG. I have a friend that his shows that. But he has the option that cuts cylinders out while driving???

Everything you need is in the box. The wiring is already in the truck.
