Anybody Have Shell / Cap On 07 Nbs?

Been looking into a shell for my truck.

Leer 100XQ is the leader right now. (I had one on my last truck). Does anybody have a shell on an 07 GMC or Chevy that could post a pic or two of it??? My truck is a RCSB but you'll get the idea from the pic.

I'm open to suggestions but I really want a shell for it's usefulness.

I have the Leer 100 XL on my 07 NBS 2500HD I love it. The fit was perfect. I ordered the removable front window, liner, and remote lock/unlock. I am glad I got the lock - no fumbling for keys - if the truck is unlocked so is the top and visa versa. The top gives the truck a whole new look - it reduces the high waistline that the bed had. I don't have any pictures to post. BTW I have the ext cab std 6' bed.

I'd love to see a picture of it too.

Looks like the Leer is going to be the winner again. My last one held up really well... Kinda like buying a GM truck huh?

That truck looks good, I have a leer on my 2000 and love it, I had the carpet put on to keep the condensation from forming, check out the "Bed Rug" it's nice when you climb in to get something, plus it's nice for sleeping in the back, it's easy to clean just vacumm or hose out., plus can be taken out in a few minutes. :(

Yeah Wingnut has the bedrug in his too. He's trying to convert me.

It only took climbing around in there on that plastic liner once with my bad knees to make up my mind :omg: I generally kind of like the plastic liners, but not with a shell on.

In other news, did I read it right that Leer sells a boot to fit between the cab and shell? So I would be able to remove the glass? That would be COOL!

2nd on the carpeted headliner is a must have option on a topper.

I have Line-X on the bed, even with a topper. That or the BedRug along with the headliner makes a big difference on the amount of condensation that accumulates.

Wingnut, when I purchased my ARE Z-series, I was wanting the pasthru boot option. The outfitter I was buying the top from strongly urged me to not get it. They said they had seen amongst all the manufacturers that with all the twisting a cab to box does on the frame, it'll eventually transfer to the top forming major cracks. I'm trying to find the warranty exclusion letter that ARE was issuing to all purchasers of the boot option. I didn't get the boot. The full drop-down/sliding front topper glass option I got does make cleaning the windows real easy. I only wished I has put a sliding window in the truck or at least the Breezer Window.

Hmmm...I hadn't thought of that. Makes sense though.

The sliding window on both might do the trick too.

Now...Upon Googling, that Breezer Window looks PERFECT. I'd love to pop one of those in and be able to remove the glass on the topper too. NICE. Thanks man! :omg:

That is no joke. That plastic liner wes MURDER on the knees. I had a large carpet (like an entry way carpet) in it on top of the liner for a while because of that.

Bedrug is the way I'll go on this truck.
