K.Jump Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Just wanted to post pics of my truck and get some feedback about torsion bar lifts. Are they really worth it?
s-ten Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Nice pictures and really good looking truck. I have never done a torsion lift so I can't give any feedback about them.
pwall Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Nice pics.....I like the dual exhaust. sry, can't help you on the torsion bar lift question. Welcome to
04z71steve Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Nice tuck!, i did the torsion lift on mine and it looks great!... theres allota guys on here that will say that it speeds up the wear and tear on your truck and its horrible and theres others that say that is doesn't in my case i have noticed nothing different... rides the same except i have more clearance up front! i think it just depends on how well you take care of your rig.. if you beat it up like some of these guys do them I'm pretty sure the wear and tear isnt just from the lifting its probably just cuz they beat it up! but i personally don't see how it could cause super wear... anyways... the only downside is if you tow.. she'll sag a touch but i'm pretty sure i'm gonna get some 4" blocks and swap them for the 2"s so i don't need to worry about it!

Z71Adrenaline Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Here's mine. I had the torsion bars cranked 2 1/2 years ago and have had no issues whatsoever.

Z71Adrenaline Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 No keys, just the t-bar crank.. works great, just be sure and get an alignment afterwards!
