sad part is ... i remember doing a mod like that on an older mustang i had ... to 'convince' the computer that the air temp was different then what it was ... so it would add more fuel ... /shrugs ... but hey i did it with parts from radio shack .. (which of course now, would not have a clue what you were asking for if you walked in and asked for the things to make it)

So...It's not adding horsepower, it's just freeing up the timing that the computer is pulling based on what the IAT is reading by giving the computer a false temp? Methinks that could be dangerous.
