No, that stuff if only useful in wheel wells. Otherwise you can't possibly put it on thick enough to provide any usable protection.

k thanks guys. I got a friend that did it to his and it looked nice but was kinda iffy if it even protected very well.

If you are planning on selling the truck it's definitely worth it. other than that its useless.

actually the best use for that stuff that I have seen was on my brothers car. He is restoring a 93 firebird and when he stripped out the interior he sprayed that spray on liner on the bottom of the car for sound proofing.

In my world only the original factory protection works (if the truck came with it).

Or some serious shop that first removes all the old stuff and then applies the new stuff.
