Fumes Coming Out At Wot

I noticed tonight when I floored my truck to get ahead of someone that I could see fumes coming out of my truck. The reason I saw it was because it was night, and the headlights behind it kinda shown through. It didn't look like smoke at all. I could tell it was just foggy behind my truck. When I got home had the wife rev it up, and it just looked like a bunch of foggy exhaust fumes coming out but no smoke.

It has a brand new air filter, new 5-30 mobil one, and the only thing added to the truck is a custom tune from Jesse running on 93 octane.

Is this normal at WOT. Or do I have an issue.

What color was the exhaust? I know that I have driven at WOT and I never have seen anything.

Really no color at all. It looked like it was just carbon monoxide, but just a lot of it. More than I have ever notice coming from a truck.

Well I'm going to bump this topic, because I saw it again tonight.

I am losing coolant also and I can smell it also after driving around.

What should I be looking for. Oil always looks fine when I change it out.

In my experience, smoke, especially a light, whiteish smoke upon nailing the throttle is not unusuall. Crap builds up that is blown out on going WOT. If there is very much smoke, then its probably something else.

Coolant loss....well, now, that is different, and needs to be taken care of. Depending on where it is, bearings can fail, and all sorts of bad things if left too long. I doubt you are seeing much of the coolant in the exhaust, the smoke is probably normal. Although you can probably smell it back there.

Possibly a bad head gasket allowing coolant to leak into the cylinder(s) and burn off.
