Urpa (rear Parking Assist) Not Working: 2002 Cadillac Escalade Awd 6.

Hello...Happy Thanksgiving!

 

My truck is having problems with the Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist. Occasionally, the URPA display on the right rear trim panel would only flash red. However, after cleaning the sensors (according to the operator's manual), the system corrected itself. This time, the system has been flashing red continuously for about one month. Cleaning and tightening connections has not helped. Each time I performed this procedure, I drove at least 15 mph in drive to reset the diagnostic monitor. I have also unsuccessfully looked for a fuse for the system. No help...the red light continues to flash. Has anyone else had this problem on any GM car with URPA? What steps should be taken to correct the problem (professional or amateur)?
