Another question off topic:

How is the Houston area? I was looking at a career opportunity down there and the only time I have been there is when connecting to my flight to Austin.

I personally do not like the Houston area, that is why I am in Austin. There are more opportunities in Houston, but then you have to deal with more crazies (on and off the road) and the town just sucks (other than just visiting).

Hi- I see this is a very old thread but I'm dealing with this issue right now.

The parking brake actuator lever on the right rear wheel of my Suburban is missing. Somehow it came off the end of the cable and is gone. I have done the whole axle removal bit in order to replace the backing plates a year or so ago, and don't feel like going through it again, especially in my driveway in the winter.

Is there any way to install the lever from the inboard side of the truck without removing the backing plate, assuming I can even find a lever? Or from the outboard side after removing the parking brake?

M. Cueva, I am trying to get the photo wiring diagram/PinOut for the starting point (from the connector) to the termination point (destination in the harness) for the Instrument Panel, Data Connector, Black Ground Connector, ODB connector, and the 16 Pin Connector that connects to the computer harness under the hood. 2002 Suburban 1500 LS.

I swapped the Suburban engine and transmission into my 1960 C-10 Apache Step Side. I had the engine running just fine. And then, I took out the driver side Suburban fuse box from my wiring harness and cut some wires to remove it. Well, the instrument panel has cut wires and doesn't work now, the ODB connector was removed as a result of cut wires, the Data connector has three cut wires, and grounding wires were cut to remove that fuse box. Also, the connector that connects to the connector in the harness under the hood, with the computer also has a few cut wires. So, I need to know where these wires terminate, so that I can get these devices working again. Can you help me, please?
