Sierra Denali Headlamps On A Sierra Hd

I have a 2005 Sierra 2500HD, I found a set of the Projector style headlamps with the clear corners ( woo hoo these are hard to find) for a Sierra Denali, these I'm pretty sure will fit. Correct me if I'm wrong. But what about the park lamps under the headlamps? The Denali one has a round lens for the DRL that would match the round (projectors) better I think The standard ones for the sierra are rectangular.

 

As far as the projectors go, some are clear and some have ion coated lenses:dunno: or something. Can anybody help with this?

 

I think I also read somewhere that that Denali's used the 9005 in place of the 9006's for the lowbeams, Is this hard to change?

 

Anybody have any pics or advise?

As far as the swap of 9005 from 9006, the factory one has a pigtail that plugs into the existing 9006 outlet. You may have to try to find one of those if you want to run 9005, otherwise, you should be able to put the 9006 in the same hole, the only difference is the plug in, and bulb cap at the end of the 9006. Or just cut the 9006 pigtail and swap for a 9005.

 

For the parking lamps yo would have to have the denali grille or the round parking lamps will not work. I will work on getting a pic to explain.
