It is called a bedrug, it is like carpeting for the bed but stays dry. Yes it is supposed to not scratch and you can haul gravel and other things on it. Here is a topic discussing it with much better pictures than mine:

The cable is nothing special, I think I got it at radio shack it is one that you can get to play your IPod (or XM in my case) through the stereo.

Good looking truck.. .. Did the snow come with the deal :fume: ?

Let us know how the bed rug holds up to the weather? I need something in the bed but I am still undecided. Mine will wait till after the first of the year anyway.. Holidays are putting a dent in my toy fund

Dan,

Thanks for reposting those pictures for me, I think I just found the topic that told me what I was doing wrong (I have to add around the link and will have to test somewhere).

Karld,

The seat covers are pretty nice. I got them because I thought the Light Titanium was just too light of a color and would stain easier. I like the black of the seat covers much better and they will be easy to clean. Honestly, though the fit could be better. I had the dealer install and I know the kid installing them had a tough time. In the summer I hope to redo it. Also, the covers for the consoles cover up the opening (you can't open them with them on). That was kind of a bummer at first but I think I like the look without them on.

Lance,

The Bedrug is holding up so far to the weather and we have had lots of it since I got the truck. The one day that we have had where the snow melted it seemed to dry up pretty quickly which was nice. But again in the summer, I think I will reinstall it because a couple of the sticky backs on the velcro have come unstuck.

Sorry for not answering these questions sooner I haven't checked this post in awhile.

Nice looking truck. I have the bedrug as well. It's been on for two months and has seen some work, (gravel, logs, motorcycle). I power washed a week ago and it looks like new.

Good luck with it.....and the weather.

Congrats. Which seat covers are those? The ones in the back seem to fit really loosely. Are they on all the way? I was thinking of getting some seat covers but I'm nervous they will look like they don't fit as tight as the neoprene covers do. Since the Neoprene covers stretch, I think they're made to fit tighter than the leathr or vinyl ones.

I bought a Bed Rug when I forst got my truck, it was cool. But once I lifted my truck and added the off road tires it didn't look right IMO. So I sold it on ebay and had my bed LineX'd instead. For me, a bed rug doesn't look right on a lifted truck(too 'soft' looking), but looks sweet on a stock or lowered one.

This past summer I met a contractor who had a bed rug, that thing was seriously abused and it looked well used. When I had mine I had bought a heavy duty plastic tarp and kept it folded under the rear seats to use it if I ever had to haul anything really dirty like sand, dirt..etc. Keeps it looking really new a lot longer.

They are the GM ones from the GMAccessorieszone website. They do not fit quite right in the back. I think the kid that put them on at the dealership was having a hard time with them. When summer get here I am going to reinstall them. I do like the way they look, though.
