I have a 2007 Sierra denali that did not come with factory navigation. I was looking into buying one that had a model number of 15940103. My question is what model number will work on this truck?? Is it difficult to get the antenna and disc for a nav unit that does not come with one? My final qustion is how expensive is the dealer reprogramming of one of these units?? Any help would be appreciated.

It will if you have a bose speaker system, which most denalis do.

You will also need to know if you have a option y91/y92 this means you have a Luxury System for the programming of the HU, this model is for a premium system.

You can look on the glove box door and find if you have the y91/y92 option

OK, I have the Bose system and the y91 option. How hard is it to get the disc and the antenna for this unit?

Nice exhaust!!! Does that add any HP? How much did that go for??? Is it better than the catback exhaust from GM???

Thank you! I'm not sure how much HP it added. I added a Volant Cold Air Intake at around the same time. I also have a Predator tuner that I need to get out and do some data logging with, to get everything tweaked "just right." At present, I'm still getting a little knocking at high RPM, just before shifts. So, I've been trying to make sure to NOT wind it up, until I can get that resolved.

My dad has a Cadillac DTS Performance Edition. When I first got the truck, we went out and did some runs and he could pull me juuust a little. After the Predator, I could pull him some. So far, since the exhaust and CAI, we haven't been able to go out and do anymore runs, to see how they compare now. It "feels" stronger. But, who knows, until you do some reason comparisons?

It sure SOUNDS a lot better now... I really really liked the stock exhaust. But, I REALLY like it the way the 6.2 sounds with a true dual exhaust setup under it with the Cold Air Intake up under the hood.

As for cost... Actually, the tips were the most expensive part. But, that's the part you see, so I didn't mind (too much) spend the extra money on them. The whole thing, though, tips, pipes, muffler, labor, and everything was either $800 or $900, I forget which... They even took the time to paint the pipes, aft of the rear axle, so all you saw was the tips. I thought that was kind of cool.

Sorry I don't have any info on your nav question. I've been watching the thread to see what others had to say, "just in case" I ever needed to replace mine or ran across someone who needed to replace their's or wanted to upgrade their setup.

Btw that model 15940103 will do Navagation it has to be programmed for the y91 by tech2. One point that you must know it will not play a DVD movie if that matters to you 15940102 will play a DVD while in park.
